Key Ingredients
Our formulas are made with clean, natural ingredients, with clinically-validated dosages to support health and performance.
Creatine
L-Glutamine (Kyowa® Quality)
L-Carnitine L-Tartrate (as Carnipure™)
Tart Cherry Powder (as Vitacherry®)
Magnesium Bisglycinate
Actigin®
Creatine
Creatine monohydrate is one of the most extensively researched dietary ingredients, particularly in the context of muscle health and recovery.
Creatine saturates skeletal-muscle phosphocreatine (PCr) stores, accelerating ATP resynthesis during and after high-intensity efforts. By sustaining PCr, creatine supports normal muscle contraction and faster recovery between sets—often enabling greater training volume over time. [1] The International Society of Sports Nutrition identifies creatine monohydrate as the most effective supplement for increasing strength and lean mass with resistance training. [2]
Consistent use may also support post-exercise glycogen storage and cellular hydration—factors linked to recovery readiness.[3]
L-Glutamine (Kyowa® Quality)
Glutamine is the most abundant free amino acid in muscle. Heavy training can temporarily lower circulating glutamine—targeted intake supports recovery. Post-exercise ingestion, especially with a carbohydrate, can aid glycogen resynthesis. [4] In endurance, oral L-glutamine helps maintain gastrointestinal barrier integrity and reduces exercise-induced damage markers—supporting recovery and exercise readiness. [5,6]
As a key immunonutrient, glutamine fuels lymphocytes and macrophages, supporting normal immune function during heavy training blocks. [7]
Kyowa® Quality L-glutamine is produced by microbial fermentation and refined for purity and consistency.
L-Carnitine L-Tartrate (as Carnipure™)
Carnipure® is a high-purity form of L-carnitine L-tartrate—a stable compound designed to support efficient energy production and athletic recovery.
L-carnitine is an essential molecule that facilitates the transport of long-chain fatty acids into the mitochondria, where they are oxidized for energy.
L-carnitine intake has shown benefits for reduced soreness and blood markers of muscle damage (creatine kinase, myoglobin) after lifting or high-intensity work. [8,9].
Consistent L-carnitine supplementation can help optimize the processes of muscle tissue repair and remodeling.[10]
Tart Cherry Powder (as Vitacherry®)
VitaCherry® is a standardized extract of Montmorency tart cherry, formulated to deliver a high concentration of anthocyanins—natural compounds shown to support the body’s response to inflammation and oxidative stress following intense physical activity.
Tart cherry supplementation has been shown in multiple studies in athletes and active individuals to reduce muscle damage and enhance muscle recovery after training. [11]
These effects are thought to be due to tart cherry’s ability to modulate oxidative pathways and promote favourable shifts in inflammatory markers. [12]
Magnesium Bisglycinate
Magnesium is a vital cofactor in 300+ enzymatic reactions, anchoring energy metabolism, calcium handling, protein synthesis, and neuromuscular transmission—all vital to post-exercise recovery
Active individuals may have higher magnesium requirements due to sweat loss and increased training demands. In these cases, supplementation has been linked to improvements in muscle function and exercise performance. [13]
A 2024 systematic review reported that magnesium supplementation reduced delayed-onset muscle soreness, improved feelings of recovery, and showed protective effects on muscle-damage markers. [14]
Actigin®
ActiGin® combines Panax notoginseng and Rosa roxburghii polyphenols.
Human trials with Rg1 show ~20% longer time-to-exhaustion, faster post-exercise glycogen resynthesis, a rise in citrate synthase (CS) activity, and a shift toward an anti-inflammatory profile in exercised muscle tissue. [15]
Citrate synthase is a readout of your muscle’s mitochondrial “engine size.” Higher CS closely tracks with more mitochondria and better aerobic capacity. [16]
